ADEY, the market leader in the provision of residential water treatment products for closed loop heating and cooling systems in the UK, is looking for a Customer Advisor to join the team. Now part of the Genuit Group Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, ADEY has ambitious growth plans.

The Role

To deliver exceptional customer service across the ADEY Group (excluding Alpha Scientific), supporting customers in the UK and, where required, in Europe, the US, China, and other regions as ADEY continues to grow. The role focuses on assisting customers via telephone, email, and online support, ensuring queries are handled promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service across the ADEY Group (excluding Alpha Scientific), primarily supporting UK customers and, when required, those in Europe, the US, China, and other growing regions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accurate and helpful information is provided.
  • Follow established processes to maintain the smooth operation of the Customer Service function and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team KPIs and uphold high standards of service.
  • Share knowledge and assist with training within the wider Customer Service team when needed.
  • Support the implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures by accurately recording and following guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to personal development and contribute positively to team growth and success.

The Person

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, handling telephone, email, and online enquiries.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of customer service principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to remain focused and accurate when working under pressure.
  • Resilience and adaptability to changing priorities.
