We're looking for a proactive and engaging Operational Trainer to support our operational leaders in creating an engaged, skilled and high-performing workforce. This role is all about coordinating impactful inductions, delivering high-quality training, and ensuring our digital training platforms and skills matrices are up to date and driving performance. Training delivery will include (but is not limited to) Safe Systems of Work (SSWs), Continuous Improvement Practices (CIPs), product quality standards, and IFS processes. Induction coordination will include supporting completion of mandatory compliance training, health and safety (including positive H&S conversations), MHE training, medicals, and full site tours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and practical training sessions for both new and existing employees – ensuring safe working practices and schedules are aligned to the operational needs.
  • Facilitate site inductions, including full site tours.
  • Accurate tracking of completed training, briefings, and inductions via the digital skills matrix.
  • Monitor individual trainee progress and capability development – identifying and escalating any barriers or development needs, and providing honest, constructive feedback, and adapting training delivery where required.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience of delivering training within an operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with confidence to deliver training and presentations to groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning experience.
  • Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills with ability to work independently.
  • Have the desire to further develop own skills in training delivery and operational knowledge.

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week. Start/finish times can be flexible however there will be an adhoc but infrequent requirement to work early morning/late evening.
