Role:
This role is responsible for the accurate recording and processing of financial information within the ERP system and supporting the Management Accountant with the day to day responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all mandatory training.
- Processing of bank payments to the online system as and when required
- Recording bank transactions in the ERP system, and undertaking regular bank reconciliations
- Manage private mileage reclaim for drivers with fuel cards
- Preparation and posting of monthly journals
- Support the preparation of VAT returns
- Completion of ONS requests
- Manage the vehicle fleet, tracking drivers to cars and gathering monthly mileage information from drivers
- Support the intercompany recharge process, providing Accounts Receivable with the documentation required to raise invoices
- Monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances and completion of intercompany schedules for Group reporting
- Support the provision of information to external auditors
- Provision of information, reports and detail as and when required
Requirements:
- C grade in Maths and English Language GCSE or Equivalent.
- AATL4 or QBE would be desirable
- Previous experience working in Purchase Ledger environment is essential for the role
- previous experience working in Finance environment is essential for the role
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be desirable
