We are looking for an experienced IT Asset and Licence Manager to lead the governance and optimisation of IT assets and licensing across our organisation.
This high‑impact role offers the opportunity to shape and mature a critical function that underpins business performance, cost control, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end asset and licence management processes
- Maintain accurate records across CMDB, contracts, and asset repositories
- Conduct audits, reconciliations, and compliance assurance activities
- Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes
- Deliver data‑driven reporting on cost optimisation, utilisation, and lifecycle planning
- Identify and remediate risks, gaps, and inefficiencies
- Establish and improve governance frameworks, standards, and controls
About you
- Proven experience in IT asset management, licence management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and asset management tools
- Solid understanding of licensing, contracts, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive process adherence
- Commercially aware mindset balancing cost, risk, and service outcomes
- Additional requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel to Group sites as required
