We’re seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to help design and embed practical, scalable AI‑enabled and automated solutions across the organisation. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on delivery, learning and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build and support automation and AI‑enabled solutions.
- Develop and maintain RPA and traditional automation workflows.
- Build APIs and integrations to connect systems and enable automation.
- Work with modern data platforms to source, transform and serve high‑quality data.
- Embed data governance, quality and lineage into automated solutions.
- Support responsible, ethical and transparent use of AI.
- Work closely with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to translate business problems into working solutions.
- Experience or hands‑on exposure to RPA or automation technologies.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data pipelines.
- Experience integrating systems via APIs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft automation and data platforms (e.g. Fabric, Data Factory, Copilot).
- Interest in AI, machine learning or agent‑based approaches (commercial or experimental).
- Comfortable operating in a manufacturing or operational environment.
