This role sits within the Water Management Division of Genuit Group, encompassing a portfolio of well-established businesses.

Role Purpose: We are now looking for an outstanding Head of Finance to play a pivotal leadership role within our Water Division. This is a highly visible position, acting as the Finance Director's deputy and partnering with the Water Senior Leadership Team to influence strategic decisions, improve commercial performance and drive sustainable growth across a portfolio of well-established businesses.

What you'll be doing: This is far more than a traditional finance role. You'll be at the heart of the business, providing commercial insight, challenging thinking and helping leaders make better decisions.

• Enable a high-performing finance function: Support the Finance Director in developing a best-in-class finance function and strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance. Standardise finance processes, systems and reporting across the division while supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning. Drive automation, simplification and data-led decision making through our Shared Services team.
• Drive commercial performance: You'll play a leading role in improving profitability through effective pricing and commercial decision-making by developing consistent pricing strategies and governance. Monitoring price realisation, margin performance and discount compliance while partnering with commercial teams to optimise pricing and deal profitability. Introducing meaningful pricing KPIs and performance measures.
• Deliver meaningful business insight: You'll build a finance performance framework that enables leaders to make informed decisions by developing a clear Finance KPI framework linked to strategic objectives while producing insightful reporting, variance analysis and forward-looking recommendations. Embedding data visualisation tools, including Power BI, to provide real-time performance insight.
• Improve productivity and cost performance: Working closely with operational leaders, you'll support cost optimisation programmes across the division while developing productivity dashboards and cost tracking metrics. Identify efficiency opportunities through benchmarking and continuous improvement. Provide robust ROI analysis and business cases to support investment decisions.
• Be a trusted business partner: Success in this role will come from your ability to influence and collaborate. You'll partner with senior leaders across the Water Division to improve business performance. Provide clear commercial insight into profitability, costs and growth opportunities and challenge constructively while supporting decision making. Embed finance into key commercial and operational processes, from pricing to performance reviews.
• Enable and develop the finance function: You'll build an engaged, high-performing finance team by coaching and developing talented finance professionals while creating a culture of accountability, curiosity and continuous improvement. Ensuring the team delivers valuable commercial insight—not simply financial reporting.

What success looks like: You'll know you're making an impact through improved margins and stronger pricing performance. A consistent, embedded KPI framework across the division with measurable productivity and cost improvements. High-quality forecasting and financial planning with insightful reporting that drives action. Strong relationships and trusted partnerships with business leaders.

What you'll bring:

• Essential: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role with strong commercial finance and operational expertise. A proven track record of driving business performance and cost transformation. Experience designing KPI frameworks and performance dashboards with excellent financial modelling and analytical capability.
• Desirable: Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation tools as well as knowledge of pricing tools or CRM systems. Experience transforming or scaling finance functions and experience in the manufacturing sector.
