Specialising in providing an unparalleled range of logistical solutions and delivering over 250,000 parts to garages and repair centres throughout Europe, Alliance Automotive Logistics guarantee that garages and fast-fit centres can repair and maintain their customers vehicles as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Role Overview

The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring alignment between the three systems holding stock information, the ERP, WMS and WCS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Review data extracts from the ERP, WMS and WCS to find and analyse discrepancies.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure wave runs are monitored for allocation issues, which are then resolved in a timely manner.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor outstanding orders and liaise with the operational team to ensure these are cleared.
  • Operational Oversight: Review aging tasks with operational colleagues.
  • Operational Oversight: Liaise with IT and system controllers to monitor and rectify any potential messaging issues.
  • Operational Oversight: Create reports to feedback to the wider organisation.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives based on stock results and count findings.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Ensure best practices are implemented and maintained.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proven ability to manage teams.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
