As a Warehouse Supervisor at our National Distribution Centre in Rotherham, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment while delivering high standards of accuracy and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support First Line Managers in leading and supervising daily warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch).
- Ensure productivity, accuracy, and service KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Allocate labour and resources effectively to meet operational demands.
- Promote and enforce Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Conduct team briefings and provide clear communication across shifts.
- Support colleague development, performance management, and training.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and inventory accuracy.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong operational knowledge of warehouse processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
