Responsibilities
- As a Dispatcher you will be responsible for ensuring customer deliveries are picked and dispatched to required timelines to ensure excellent customer service.
- Ensuring all our drivers are running in an efficient manner and departing with the correct goods within the required timeframe.
- Ensuring customer orders are picked and deadlines met by ensuring that products are prepared and ready for dispatch.
- Assign and plan routes for drivers to efficiently utilise the resources at hand.
- Oversee the running of the warehouse and ensure that all processes and procedures are carried out correctly.
- Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
- Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is always located correctly.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Able to work with a high degree of accuracy/computer literate.
- Good communicator.
