We are seeking a proactive, highly organised and self-motivated Events Coordinator to support the logistics, coordination, and execution of a diverse range of automotive events. The role involves both exhibiting at external automotive events and supporting the planning and delivery of events hosted by Alliance Automotive Group. You will work across multiple systems, teams, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication, accurate information gathering, and strong on-the-day execution. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes initiative, identifies what needs doing without constant instruction, and confidently drives tasks forward from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning, logistics, and execution of both hosted and external automotive events
- Attend (as required) exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events as a company representative
- Coordinate event setup, stand preparation, branding, and materials
- Manage event schedules, deadlines, and planning checklists
- Act as a confident and professional representative of the business at events (as required)
- Engage with customers, suppliers, partners, and industry contacts in a professional manner
- Gather leads, feedback, and key event intelligence
- Support relationship building with new and existing contacts
- Liaise with internal teams, external suppliers, and event agents
- Maintain clear communication across multiple stakeholders
- Collate and organise event data, attendee information, and feedback
- Use multiple systems and platforms to track event activity and outcomes
- Proactively identify upcoming events and opportunities
- Take ownership of assigned events from planning through to completion
- Problem-solve on-site issues independently and efficiently
- Continuously look for ways to improve event delivery and engagement
- Experience in events, automotive, marketing, or customer engagement roles
- Strong communication skills, confident speaking and written communications to a wide range of people
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and events simultaneously
- Positive, proactive, “get things done” attitude
- Willingness to travel and attend events outside standard working hours when required
- Familiarity with CRM systems, event platforms, or data tracking tools
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Room to grow within a developing events and marketing function
