The group has global revenues of US$19Billion with operations in North America, Europe and Australasia. The UK Group has annualised sales of c.£1bn.

The UK Group is a dynamic business growing both organically and by acquisition, operating from over 300 locations and employing over 5,000 staff in the UK. With over 250 million cars and 70 million commercial vehicles on Europe’s roads, our sophisticated supply chain and logistics infrastructure ensures the efficient delivery of spare parts to repairers in our markets.

To support the growth and increase in financial transactions, the UK IT Services function is recruiting a new Finance Systems Analyst to support the Finance Systems Manager in providing IT service management to stakeholders, 3rd parties and team members across a portfolio of finance software.

The Finance Systems Analyst supports a portfolio of finance software ranging from 3rd party packages to homegrown internal solutions. You will be first responder for support and debugging whilst executing project work in parallel. However, due to the role specialism, it is expected that you will be familiar with accountancy terminology too and will have worked either within a Finance team or supported a large-scale Finance application in previous roles. You will need to have a strong technical background in Microsoft technologies and be capable of debugging and writing T-SQL & Microsoft Access code. You need to be familiar with electronic document transmission protocols such as XML, CSV & EDIFACT and be competent of working with suppliers to improve our inbound EDI invoicing percentage.

You are expected to be a technical problem solver and be able to get into the detail of specific issues so you can either resolve it yourself or co-ordinate with 3rd parties. You need to be a quick learner and not afraid to take control of situations when a complex problem occurs. To be successful, you need to be invested and engaged with the portfolio of work, ensuring all output meets the requirements of the stakeholders and being accountable for the quality of your deliverables.

This is a hybrid role as you need to be able to be on-site in our Bradford office (located on Euroway Trading Estate) some days a week to become familiar with existing process and identify improvements. These days are flexible and to be discussed during the interview stage.
