Specialising in providing an unparalleled range of logistical solutions and delivering over 250,000 parts to garages and repair centres throughout Europe, Alliance Automotive Logistics guarantee that garages and fast-fit centres can repair and maintain their customers vehicles as quickly and efficiently as possible.
A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch.
Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Commercial vehicle parts.
Responsibilities:
Driver
- Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
- Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
- Unload goods as per client specifications
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
Warehouse Operative
- Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
- Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
- Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
- Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
