Purpose of Job: You will work in our product databases enabling us to produce vehicle application catalogues ‘EPC’ that are complete, consistent and highly accurate; making it easy for customers to find the right parts they need. You will be able to use your communication skills to liaise effectively between departments to respond to queries and ensure launches are delivered on time, and work efficiently with data to fulfil various research, reporting and administration duties.
Key responsibilities and duties - daily tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Catalogue Production
- Combine data from multiple sources to improve and expand catalogue information
- Generate additional product information and fitment notes through research and analysis
- Create specific output formats for various platforms including websites and other proprietary systems
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in the production of catalogues, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyse cross-reference data across multiple competitors and use research to validate and fill gaps
- Database Administration and Reporting
- Run various import/export routines within databases in order to update the company systems and websites
- Run procedures to extract data that can be used in reporting functions, using Excel to perform analysis
- Investigate product queries via external websites and other sources, and gather product and application information to update and expand the catalogue
- Use Excel to produce reports on vehicle parc trends, warranty rates, cross-reference gaps and other areas
- Other result areas
- Prepare, plan and organise tasks between departments to ensure systems are maintained and up to date
- Proactively identify and resolve errors within catalogues, and highlight issues to prevent problems in future
- Work with other departments and product teams to gather and store supplier information
- Use software to rename, resize and watermark catalogue images

Experience what we’re looking for:
- 3 years Automotive Aftermarket/Main Dealer Parts adviser experience.
- Cataloguing systems (MAM Autocat, TecDoc, Partslink24, Dealer EPC, Elcome Xchecker)
- Accurate with meticulous attention to detail
- 3 Years Microsoft (Excel, Access, Word & Outlook)
- Analytical skills
- Understanding of automotive components & technical information.
