About the Role


Gentleman’s Advisory is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable freelance Tailor to support our styling team with fittings and garment alterations for high-net-worth male clients.

This is a collaborative role for someone with strong technical skill, discretion, and a genuine passion for elegant menswear.


Responsibilities


  • Attend private in-home client fittings alongside our Image Consultant
  • Advise on garment alterations and ensure optimal fit and silhouette
  • Take precise measurements and record alteration needs
  • Complete high-quality tailoring off-site and return garments by deadline
  • Occasionally liaise with clients directly for final drop-offs
  • Maintain professional standards in communication, dress, and conduct
  • Handle all fittings and garments with discretion and care


Requirements


  • 1–2 years’ tailoring experience (formalwear or menswear preferred)
  • Confident in handling delicate fabrics, suits, trousers, and shirts
  • Strong attention to detail and a polished, calm presence
  • Must provide own tools/equipment and workspace for alterations
  • Based in London and able to attend occasional fittings on-site
