Job Details Security Officer – LondonThe Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff within the casino. This role plays a key part in protecting company assets, enforcing operational procedures, and supporting the overall customer experience. The Security Officer will act as a visible deterrent to potential risks, respond to incidents professionally, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.Key duties and responsbilities : Ensure departmental procedures are followed through accurate checklist completionExecute all assigned duties efficiently during each shiftCollaborate with Casino Managers and on-site security leadership during incidentsDemonstrate a solid understanding of key security functions and protocolsProactively identify, eliminate, and communicate potential risksMaintain awareness and control in crowd management situationsRespond positively to direction and support from leadershipAttend and contribute to pre-shift briefingsWork effectively as part of a cohesive teamFoster a communication style that promotes a positive and respectful work environmentRecognise and respond to potential risks in a timely mannerFocus on protecting staff, guests, company assets, and reputationSupport and adhere to Health & Safety procedures across the siteSkills and experience : Holder of a valid SIA Door Supervisor LicenceMinimum of 2 years\’ experience as a Security OfficerStrong understanding of compliance and security protocolsKnowledge of current SIA legislative requirementsClear understanding of the importance and value of high customer service standardsProven ability to work effectively as part of a teamArticulate and confident communicatorPractical experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced 24 / 7 environmentFully Flexible Must be willing and able to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holiday season, and adapt to changing schedules or duties as required by the casino.
