You will be responsible for leading the day‑to‑day security operation within a high‑profile, large‑scale venue, ensuring a safe, compliant and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
You will oversee a large team and play a key role in maintaining licensing standards, managing risk, and driving operational excellence across the business:
- Leading and managing a large security team, ensuring high standards of performance, conduct and service.
- Overseeing all day‑to‑day security operations to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
- Ensuring full compliance with licensing conditions, legal requirements and company procedures.
- Managing and investigating incidents, ensuring accurate reporting and appropriate escalation.
- Coordinating security resources, team deployment and rota planning to meet business needs.
- Working closely with internal departments to support smooth and secure operations.
- Maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities and emergency services.
- Monitoring security systems and ensuring all equipment is operating effectively.
- Producing clear, accurate reports and maintaining detailed departmental records.
- Identifying areas for improvement and supporting the development of security processes and standards.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of legislation, compliance requirements and high‑volume security environments.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Remaining organised, professional and effective in a fast‑paced environment.
- Working flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business demands.
This is a 40‑hour-per-week role, as necessary to meet business demands. Evening and weekend working should be expected.
