Are you passionate about food? Have you got experience working as a chef in a fast-paced environment? We have a vacancy for an experienced chef to join our team. You will be responsible for managing a section during service and helping deliver great food in a timely manner for our customers. You will need to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts across the week.
Key skills and responsibilities include:
- Previous experience as a chef.
- Positive work ethic and ability to be flexible with a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Passionate about great food and the drive to excel in your field.
- Ability to manage a high volume service.
- A strong eye for detail.
- An effective team player who contributes to continuous business improvement.
- Ability to work in a pressured environment.
- Solid communication skills.
- COSHH and food handling procedures.
- Ensure food is stored correctly and stock rotation procedures are followed at all times.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules are adhered to according to company procedures.
- Be responsible for correct portion control, minimising wastage as appropriate.
- Assist with stocktaking according to company policy.
