Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience with stock room, material handling, and warehouse setting
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong communication with all levels of employees
- Shipping/Receiving experience is a plus

Performs essential routine tasks involving the replenishing and distributing of materials to the manufacturing floor and assisting with shipping and receiving as needed.

Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Strong knowledge of inventory handling processes, inventory cycle counting and physical inventory
- 1+ years experience with maintaining shelf‑life materials
- Strong knowledge and understanding weight counts using a calibrated scale
- Attention to detail, ability to multi‑task, follow instructions and accurately count inventory
- Proactive approach to solving problems and implementing solutions
- Team player and good understanding of all job functions within stockroom
- Easily adaptable and open to process changes/improvements
- Knowledge of FOD workspaces and electrostatic sensitive devices
- Basic computer use including ERP Systems, Microsoft Office, label printing experience and INFOR XA
- Knowledge of UPS Tracking World Ship software, FedEx Ship Manager a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor and replenish point of use inventory items to support various product lines
- Kit materials from inventory locations per pick list and issue kits to production
- Shipping using UPS Tracking World Ship software, FedEx Ship Manager
- Contact Freight forwarders and ability to palletize products for large shipments
- Prepare production routers, material requisitions and shortages for production in a timely manner
- Perform cycle counts and assist to correct any inventory inaccuracies
- Maintain inventory accuracy, material location integrity and follow FIFO throughout the stockroom
- Receive incoming materials from production into MRP system
- Transfers product between inventory locations
- Assist and monitor chemical expiration dates in excel database
- Follow all safety requirements, regulations, and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

Gentex’s Manchester facility is located in southern New Hampshire.
