Your Role
Gensler's London office is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our Workplace Interiors Studios. You will be a Revit genius who will be responsible for initiating the technical solutions to best meet the client and design briefs. You will be experienced in handling the technical process, with excellent communication and team relationship skills, and the ability to understand and interpret client, designer and contractor's needs and requirements.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver design projects with a focus on Workplace design and delivery
- Operate across multiple projects simultaneously working in diverse teams to deliver major projects
- Work with our wider offices and consultancy team to develop innovative technical design solutions
- Initiate the technical solutions which best meet the client's brief
- Support the team in detailed technical development of design and technical input during the preparation and execution of construction documents and on site
- Support the team in collaboration with the Design Manager and Designer colleagues
- Responsible for making the technical team aware of current building legislation and the Quality Management System
- Help with the technical aspects of the project team and oversee all phases
- Manage the design team towards a cohesive and rational technical solution which conforms to the project brief and is technically, legally and financially responsible
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology or equivalent, with demonstrable experience in design, detailing and/or construction practice
- Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software
- 12 + YOE Experience
