Architect

Your role

Gensler’s London Studio is seeking an experienced Architect to join our team.

You will be working on a variety of new build projects across many sectors. You will be experienced in Revit, a highly motivated individual with a proactive attitude and eager to learn.

A self-motivated team player with a positive, communicative and collaborative approach, you will work with Architects and Interior Design colleagues across Gensler’s practice areas. As a member of the team, you will be fully integrated into design teams, participating hands‑on and collaborating directly with team members, across all RIBA stages.

What You Will Do

As an Architect, you will tap into your boundless creativity to contribute towards the design of unique environments, providing exemplar design knowledge from concept to completion of projects working across all the RIBA design stages.

• Designing World class buildings
• Involvement with all phases of the design process, including programming, concept design, schematic design, design development, specification and tendering processes
• Support the Principals to develop the client, contractor and design team communications, developing and maintaining strong external and internal relationships
• Prepare plans, elevations, details and sections through to detailed construction drawings
• Focus on delivering design excellence and ensuring that the design vision exceeds goals and expectations

Your Qualifications

• RIBA or ARB registered Architect
• Knowledge of UK building regulations, standards and building structures
• Experience in project leadership, excellent client liaison and team management skills
• Experience with the full project lifecycle, through to delivery
• Knowledge and experience in all phases of interior design / architectural projects
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituents
• Ability to understand how buildings are constructed and to create technical documents that succinctly describe the work to be done
• Experience managing consultant teams and resolving technical and design issues
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship-management skills
• Proficiency in Revit desirable
