Who We Are

We are the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for Hyundai Power Products and a global distributor for JCB Tools and power products. Alongside these leading brands, our portfolio includes P1 Power Equipment, Evopower, Gardentek and BE Pressure. Established as a family-run business in 2006, we have grown into a leading distributor within the power equipment sector. We operate from our headquarters in Pembroke Dock and our 100,000 sq ft distribution centre in Newport, supporting customers across the UK and internationally. Having surpassed £50m in turnover, we are continuing our ambitious growth journey towards £100m. We supply an extensive approved dealer network while also reaching consumers directly through our own Shopify stores, Amazon, eBay and other leading marketplaces.

The role

We are looking for a multi-skilled creator, not a single-discipline specialist. One person, fluent in AI, can now produce what used to take a video editor, a designer, a copywriter and a social executive. That is the role. You will shoot, edit, design, write and publish across our brands and use AI tooling to turn one filming session into a month of assets: shorts, ads, product page clips, social posts and email creative. You will work alongside our live stream host and content coordinator and report into the Marketing Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan and produce content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn for our brand portfolio
  • Shoot and edit video: product demos, comparisons, how-to content, behind the scenes, trend-led short form
  • Use AI tools throughout: scripting, editing, auto-clipping long-form into shorts, subtitles, voiceover, image generation, background removal, upscaling and repurposing
  • Turn live streams into libraries of short-form content, product page video and paid social creative
  • Design static assets for social, email, website and marketplace listings
  • Write copy that suits each platform and holds our brand voice
  • Own the content calendar, keep it full and built around products we actually need to sell
  • Monitor comments and messages and feed customer questions back into content and into the wider team
  • Track what performs, report on it and change what you make based on the numbers
  • Support paid social with creative built for testing, in volume

What We’re Looking For

  • A portfolio of content you have made yourself. Video, design, social, or all three. This matters more than your CV
  • Confident behind a camera and comfortable in front of one where the content calls for it
  • Strong video editing: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar
  • Practical, daily use of AI content tools. Tell us which ones and what you make with them
  • Design ability: Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Canva or equivalent
  • Organised and self-driven. You will own the calendar and hit the dates
  • Current on platform trends, formats and algorithm behaviour and able to move quickly on them
  • Experience creating content for a product brand, retailer or marketplace
  • Live streaming experience: TikTok Live, YouTube Live or eBay Live
  • Photography and product styling
  • Full driving licence valid in the UK, for filming on location

Why Join Genpower?

  • Competitive salary with performance-related bonus
  • Perkbox membership and staff discount across all our brands
  • Increasing holiday allowance with length of service
  • Kit, budget and access to the AI tools you need
  • Two globally recognised brands in Hyundai and JCB, a six-brand portfolio and freedom to make content properly

We are committed to providing an inclusive recruitment process. If you require any adjustments during the application or interview process, please let us know and we will work with you to support your needs.
