Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant – Appian. Genpact has a vacancy for a Senior Principal Consultant in its expanding BPMN Group to support global customers. The group is expanding to cater to the growing number of varied and exciting projects and customers. This is a varied role and offers an exciting opportunity for the right individuals to develop their career in the Professional Services organization of Genpact.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and lead implementation of enterprise-grade Appian solutions.
- Own solution architecture including application design, integration patterns, and deployment strategy.
- Lead offshore development teams and provide technical direction and governance.
- Ensure adherence to Appian best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
- Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Mash API, and external systems.
- Drive integration of AI/ML models with Appian applications for intelligent automation and decisioning.
- Optimize Appian applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Define CI/CD strategies and DevOps practices for Appian deployments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Qualifications we seek in you!
- Minimum 14+ years of overall IT experience with minimum 6+ years of strong hands-on Appian architecture and development experience.
- Appian Lead Developer Certification (mandatory).
- Deep understanding of Appian architecture including records, SAIL interfaces, process models, CDTs, plug-ins, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with Mash API and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience integrating Appian with AI/ML models (REST-based AI services, predictive models, NLP services, etc.).
- Strong database knowledge including SQL, data modeling, indexing strategies, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Expertise in REST/SOAP web services and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud environments and containerized deployments is a plus.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with enterprise security standards and governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor teams and drive technical excellence.
