Inviting applications for the role of Source to Pay Consulting - Assistant Vice President- English. Genpact’s Source to Pay (S2P) practice is part of our broader Supply Chain priority service line. Our end-to-end capabilities are recognized by external analysts as well as our clients and partners, as market leading and deliver tangible, transformative top and bottom-line impact.
As part of our continued growth trajectory and plans, we are further expanding our strategic sourcing advisory capabilities and looking for dynamic candidates who will help clients identify and realize their cost ambitions. These roles will suit individuals already working in an advisory capacity or internal sourcing professionals working in dynamic, progressive organizations wanting to move into consulting.
Responsibilities:
- The primary focus of the role is on strategic sourcing engagements either as standalone consulting projects or supporting delivery teams assigned to our managed service clients.
- Work with clients to identify third party spend optimization opportunities.
- Project manage and lead client meetings with high visibility and engagement across a broad range of client stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Develop sourcing wave plans working in conjunction with client stakeholders and Genpact category management and analytics centers of excellence.
- Execute identified cost reduction projects through competitive strategic sourcing processes and commercial levers (e.g. RFx, direct negotiation, process changes, implementation of sustainable cost controls).
- Collaborate with clients to validate and capture the impact of projects and ensure robust tracking to support Genpact’s contractual commitments.
- Leverage intelligence and insights gained through the sourcing execution engagements to identify opportunities to optimize the client’s S2P capabilities and shape their transformation roadmap.
As part of Genpact’s commitment to continued professional growth and development, in addition to the primary focus, you will be involved in the full range of our advisory offerings (e.g. target operating model design, AI and digital transformation). You will also be increasingly exposed to ongoing development of our service offerings and intellectual property (IP) as well as client pursuits and commercial proposals.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strategic sourcing experience across a broad range of indirect and/or direct categories.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of leading end-to-end source to contract techniques, methodologies and platforms.
- Proven ability to negotiate and develop supplier commercial terms and contracts, communicate and implement new contracts with business sourcing and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and high levels of numeracy to use commercial data (e.g. commodity costs, supplier spend, TCOs, savings projections).
- Strong client interfacing skills and consulting acumen with the gravitas to engage and influence senior business stakeholders.
- Agility to manage multiple projects (often in a matrixed structure) in fast paced, time sensitive client environments.
- Ability to capture and present succinct messages and data in presentation decks and communicate professionally at all levels (verbally and in writing).
- Delivery focused with the drive, determination, resilience and adaptability to succeed.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:
- ISM, MBA or other professional qualification.
- An additional language would be ideal but not required.
