Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, MES/PLM Solution Architect! As a MES/PLM Solution Architect, you will own the technical vision for MES/PLM programs (Manufacturing Execution Systems/Product Lifecycle Management), lead architecture and design decisions, support pre-sales engagements, and ensure delivery excellence across platforms like GE, Siemens, PTC, Rockwell. This role is central to building our delivery capability and intellectual property as part of a newly formed MES/PLM practice.
Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end MES/PLM architecture for greenfield and brownfield implementations.
- Create scalable, modular architectures aligned with ISA-95, ISA-88, and Industry 4.0 standards.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical blueprints.
- Ensure MES/PLM solutions integrate seamlessly with ERP, SCADA, PLC, historians, and IIoT platforms.
- Collaborate with the MES/PLM Practice Lead on RFPs, proposals, and client workshops.
- Create solution architectures, effort estimates, and delivery models for new pursuits.
- Support creation of reusable solution assets, demos, and accelerators.
Project Delivery Support
- Review functional and technical specifications for accuracy and completeness.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical troubleshooting in complex scenarios.
- Ensure quality, performance, and scalability standards are met.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, developers, and data engineers.
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, OEM platforms, and integration patterns.
- Contribute to internal capability building through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in MES/PLM domain, with experience in a solution architecture role.
- Deep hands-on expertise in one or more MES/PLM platforms:
- Rockwell FactoryTalk Production Centre
- Siemens Teamcenter/Opcenter (previously SIMATIC IT)
- PTC Windchill
- Eyelit MES, Wonderware, AVEVA, SAP MII/SAP DM
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Exposure to regulated industries like pharmaceuticals, Aerospace, or automotive.
- Experience with MES/PLM in cloud/hybrid architectures (Azure, AWS).
- Understanding of digital twin, predictive maintenance, and IIoT analytics integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
