Requirements

Responsibilities

• We will expect you to lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for shared platform products.
• You will work closely with engineers and technical leads to shape scalable, API‑first services and reusable platform capabilities.
• You will balance platform evolution, operational stability, technical debt, and new delivery against organisational priorities.
• You will work with peers to define a clear long‑term platform product strategy and drive migration away from legacy components.
• You will use data and meaningful outcome measures to understand platform health and impact.
• You will partner across multiple teams to identify common capabilities, reduce duplication, and improve developer experience.
• You will operate confidently in a complex, regulated environment with strong governance and assurance requirements.
• You will build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders and make transparent prioritisation and trade‑off decisions.
• You will mentor product managers and contribute to product excellence across the organisation.

This Senior Product Manager role is a 12-month fixed‑term contract focused on platform products that underpin the Healthcare Genomics Service, working with exceptional engineers on complex, mission‑driven challenges.
