Due to an internal promotion, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join our Middlesbrough team. This is a fantastic time to join, as the company has big plans for investment in the Practice and in private treatment plans.
As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for driving your practice's performance by delivering set objectives relating to patient care, NHS contractual targets, private revenue targets (alongside the practice's private treatment coordinator), KPIs, and cost management. You will retain and directly manage a wide range of professionals, including self-employed Clinicians, Nurses, Receptionists, and Cleaners.
You are responsible for your practice's internal and external compliance following internal and external standards. A legal requirement of your role is to become a CQC Registered Manager. Genix Healthcare will support you in your application and interview process.
Practice Managers within Genix Healthcare receive readily accessible support from the Genix Healthcare Operations team, Genix Healthcare Clinical team, and other Practice Manager colleagues across the group. A positive team culture is vitally important, and it will be your passion to ensure the culture within the dental practice is in line with the organisation's vision, values, and behaviours.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualities:
- Motivation and drive to make your practice a success.
- Excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to successfully manage relationships with colleagues, clinical professionals, patients, and management.
- Outstanding organisational skills enabling you to prioritise important deadlines and reactive business needs.
- Strong previous management experience.
- Confidence to upsell private treatments and practice subscriptions such as Denplan.
- Experience of working within a dental environment is essential in this role.
