A driven and strategic Talent Sourcer will partner with Recruiters and TA Partners to identify, engage, and nurture top-tier talent across revenue-generating and technical functions, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Data.

In this role you will develop creative sourcing strategies, map talent markets, maintain diverse pipelines, conduct market research, engage passive candidates, craft outreach messaging, track sourcing metrics, ensure an exceptional candidate experience, and continuously refine techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with TA Partners to understand hiring needs across Commercial (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships) and Technology (Engineering, Product, Data, IT) functions.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, AI, and other innovative channels.
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines for critical and frequently hired roles, especially in the competitive NYC market.
  • Conduct market mapping and talent research to provide insights on competitor landscapes, compensation trends, and talent availability.
  • Engage and assess passive candidates, conducting outreach and qualification conversations to evaluate alignment, motivation, and skill fit before handoff to Recruiters.
  • Craft compelling outreach messaging that reflects the employer brand and resonates with both commercial and technical audiences.
  • Track and report on sourcing metrics including response rates, pipeline health, time-to-slate, and diversity representation.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining clear, timely communication throughout the sourcing and early screening stages.
  • Continuously refine sourcing techniques, staying current on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Key Requirements
  • Proven success sourcing technical talent across software engineering (frontend, backend, full-stack), data engineering/science, product management, and other specialized technical functions.
  • Strong understanding of technical skill sets, frameworks, and tooling (modern programming languages, cloud platforms, data stacks) and ability to assess technical alignment in initial conversations.
  • Experience conducting technical market mapping, including competitor analysis and talent landscape research in New York.
  • Ability to engage and qualify passive technical candidates, evaluating skills, motivations, and cultural fit.
  • Experience leveraging AI sourcing tools and talent intelligence platforms.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience supporting Commercial hiring (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships), with the ability to adapt sourcing strategies across revenue-generating functions.
  • Experience conducting technical market mapping, including competitor analysis and talent landscape research in London.
Compensation & Details
  • Initial term of six (6) months, with potential extension.
  • Hourly range: $45 - $50.
  • Role based in NYC office.
