b Overview /b p In this Financial Accountant role, you own key areas of the monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. You’ll work across the balance sheet, P L and cash flow to provide reliable financial insight. The role blends hands-on reporting with data analysis and process automation to improve efficiency and quality. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, multinational environment undergoing growth and change, collaborating with Finance teams to drive better decision-making. Your work supports governance, controls and continuous improvement as Legend scales post-acquisition. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Own monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting cycles ensuring accuracy and timeliness /li li Prepare, review and improve balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and working papers /li li Analyze performance across balance sheet, P L and cash flow to identify trends, risks and opportunities /li li Build, improve and automate reporting processes using Excel and data tools /li li Use data insights to challenge processes and simplify, standardise and enhance Finance operations /li li Partner with Finance Operations, FP A and wider Finance teams to improve information quality and usefulness /li li Support audit, governance and control activities throughout the reporting cycle /li li Contribute to wider Finance projects and improvements during growth and post-acquisition integration /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) /li li Experience in financial reporting, management accounting or similar environment with ability to own parts of the reporting cycle /li li Strong understanding of financial reporting fundamentals across balance sheet, P L and cash flow /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to turn data into insight /li li Advanced Excel skills with handling of large datasets /li li Proven experience improving reporting processes and automating manual tasks /li li Experience with data tools such as Power Query, Alteryx (advantageous) /li li Attention to detail with focus on accuracy, controls and high-quality outputs /li li Proactive, curious mindset with ability to challenge processes and take ownership /li li Strong communication and collaboration across Finance and wider business /li li Experience in fast-paced, multinational or listed environments or post-acquisition change (advantageous) /li /ul ul li analytical mindset /li li proactive problem-solving /li li strong communication /li li Excel (advanced) /li li Power Query /li li Alteryx /li /ul
