Senior Product Manager
As Senior Product Manager for the betting cluster of Genius Sports, you will work closely with the product director and delivery teams translating high‑level roadmaps into work items. Your work will focus on scalability of our core internal infrastructure and ingestion of external market data.
Your responsibilities will cover both the strategic and tactical aspects of Product Management.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure squad and stakeholders are fully invested and help shape product vision, goals, and strategy.
- Work with the Product VP to produce the product vision, roadmap, and identify opportunities.
- Translate product vision and roadmap into detailed work items in preparation for quarterly planning.
- Maintain strong links to key stakeholders across technical, commercial, support, marketing, and operations, as well as key customers.
- Articulate vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout initiative duration.
- Keep abreast of developments in the industry and with specific competitors, identifying threats and opportunities.
- Support the operational running of the product on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Manage release to customers and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Define epics with comprehensive acceptance criteria, interacting with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts to verify work is correctly specified and that relevant assets (wireframes, designs) are included.
- Verify that epics are completed to the expectation set out in the acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Delivery Lead to ensure alignment on all team and product matters.
- Produce relevant documentation to support product awareness and technical build.
Required Skills
- Experience in product management in the online sports betting or gaming industry.
- 5+ years’ experience in a product management role with a strong technical background.
- Proven experience in developing a product strategy and effectively managing roadmaps.
- Experience with software product development methodologies, mainly focused on agile methodologies.
- Deep experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into a practical product roadmap.
- Strong background in BI and/or Analytics required; experience working on data‑oriented products preferred.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Passionate about working in the betting industry.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Team leadership skills.
- Highly collaborative nature.
- Required language: English.
