Description
Our client is looking for a Contract Manager to work at a location in Portsmouth.
We\u2019re looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a fast-growing commercial contractor based in Portsmouth, with projects spanning the UK.

The Role
You’ll take the lead on roofing projects from pre-start to completion — managing budgets, motivating site teams, ensuring H&S compliance, and exceeding client expectations. Strong experience in pitched slating and tiling is ideal, but a solid understanding of the wider roofing industry is a plus.
What We’re Looking For
- SMSTS & CSCS certified
- Full UK driving license
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in roofing or construction
- Strong leadership, communication & organisational skills
- Able to keep cool under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A collaborative mindset and a sharp eye for quality
Desirable
- Specific experience in slating & tiling
- Awareness of sustainable practices in construction
