We are partnering with an exciting and rapidly growing food concept looking for an experienced General Manager to lead operations across both front and back of house. This is not a purely operational role. We are looking for someone who truly understands the full journey from production through to guest experience, ideally someone who has come from a bakery, artisan food concept, premium café brand, or has even built and scaled their own concept.

The Role:

  • Oversee end-to-end operations across FOH and BOH
  • Drive service standards, customer experience and team performance
  • Work closely with kitchen, production and retail teams
  • Support growth, efficiencies and operational improvements
  • Manage budgets, labour, stock control and P&L performance
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams
  • Ensure consistency across quality, product and brand standards

We would love to speak to people who have:

  • Strong experience across both front and back of house operations
  • Background in bakery, café, artisan food, premium hospitality or concept-led businesses
  • Experience managing large teams and multi-site or high-volume environments
  • Commercial awareness with strong operational ownership
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ideally someone who has launched or run their own concept previously
  • Passion for food, people and guest experience

Bonus points if you have come from:

  • Bakery concepts
  • Founder/operator backgrounds
  • Premium café groups
  • Food production plus retail environments
  • Businesses where you have worn multiple hats across operations

If you have built, scaled or operated a food business and understand what happens both behind the scenes and on the floor, we would love to hear from you.
