About the Role

Genie AI is on a mission to make world-class legal expertise accessible to every business. We are looking for an energetic, well-connected Community & Industry Influencer to build and lead a thriving ecosystem of advocates around our platform, and to put Genie AI firmly at the heart of the conversation on AI-powered contract review.

This is not a traditional marketing or events role. We are searching for someone who already has a voice, a network, and genuine credibility in the AI legal or legal-tech space; someone who Commercial and Legal Leaders listen to and trust. You will be the public face of Genie in the market, bringing practitioners, decision-makers, and innovators together through compelling content and experiences.

What you’ll do

  • Community Building & Advocacy
    • Build, grow, and manage a community of advocates, particularly commercial leaders and legal professionals who are exploring or adopting AI contract review.
    • Develop ambassador and referral programmes that turn customers and supporters into active champions for Genie.
    • Foster genuine relationships across the legal tech ecosystem; with buyers, practitioners, influencers, and press.
    • Act as the connective tissue between Genie and its community, surfacing insights back to our product and commercial teams.
  • Content, Events & Channels
    • Host and produce regular webinars, podcasts, and live events aimed at commercial and legal audiences navigating AI adoption.
    • Drive Genie’s presence at industry conferences; speaking, moderating, and representing the brand on stage.
    • Create and distribute thought leadership content across LinkedIn, newsletters, and other relevant channels.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to design community-first campaigns that drive awareness and pipeline.
    • Set and achieve targets for lead generation across all channels and initiatives.
  • Brand Ambassadorship
    • Serve as a credible, authentic spokesperson for Genie, bringing expertise, personality, and authority to every interaction.
    • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to accelerate deals and expansions through community trust.
    • Represent Genie’s values and point of view clearly in a rapidly evolving, sometimes noisy AI landscape.
    • Help shape Genie’s positioning on key topics including AI safety, legal risk, and contract automation best practice.

Who We’re Looking For

Seniority is flexible, what matters is that you’re already known and respected in the space. You might be a lawyer-turned-advocate, a legal ops leader, a founder, a podcaster, or a content creator.

What’s non-negotiable:

  • An existing network among commercial, legal and business leaders either in the UK or globally.
  • Genuine passion for and knowledge of AI, and specifically its application to legal - contract review, automation, and risk management.
  • Experience hosting or producing events, webinars, podcasts, or other content formats.
  • Excellent communicator: you’re as compelling one-to-one as you are on a stage or in front of a camera.
  • A collaborative, commercially-minded approach. You understand that community is not just goodwill, it drives growth.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Nice to Have

  • A legal qualification or background, or experience working closely with legal and commercial teams.
  • An existing audience; newsletter, LinkedIn following, podcast, or speaking profile.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS or legal tech environment.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM), contract review, or procurement processes.

Why Genie

  • Category-defining product: Genie is one of the most widely adopted AI legal platforms in the UK, trusted by leading commercial teams.
  • Autonomy & impact: You’ll shape this function from the ground up — with the resources, trust, and latitude to do it properly.
  • A market that’s moving fast: AI in legal is one of the most exciting and consequential spaces in tech right now. You’ll be at the centre of it.
  • Competitive package: Salary, equity, and benefits commensurate with your experience and the seniority you bring.
