Genie AI is hiring an Account Executive for the EMEA region to own and grow our high‑velocity mid‑market SaaS sales pipeline. Your focus will be on hunting new opportunities, building a robust pipeline, and closing high‑value deals for our cutting‑edge Legal AI product. You’ll be part of a fast‑moving, fully remote team and will directly contribute to democratising legal know‑how across an industry worth £750bn.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Outbound prospecting: reach potential customers through LinkedIn, email, calls, events, and other proactive methods.
  • Pipeline generation: build and sustain a qualified lead pipeline, nurturing opportunities from discovery to close with excellent CRM hygiene.
  • High‑velocity SaaS sales: manage a fast sales cycle (typically under 30 days) from discovery to close with mid‑market businesses, using automation where possible.
  • Territory ownership: be the first AE to fully own and scale distinct parts of the EMEA region.
  • Deal execution: run demos, present solutions, and close five‑figure deals with commercial teams.
  • New product launch: support the market introduction and adoption of Genie AI’s newest product releases.

Onboarding & First 90 Days

  • Month 1 – Deeply understand our product, customers, and ideal customer profile; shadow senior calls; begin running your own sales calls with a playbook.
  • Month 2 – Close your first deals; start building and nurturing your own pipeline; adapt your playbook and take full territory ownership.
  • Month 3 – Close around half a dozen deals; independently generate pipeline; run full sales cycles.

Success Criteria for the First Six Months

  • Consistently hit revenue targets.
  • Generate and manage your own sales pipeline.
  • Close multiple deals each month.
  • Play a key role in scaling our EMEA revenue engine.

Qualifications

  • Experience closing B2B SaaS deals in a high‑velocity environment.
  • Proven success in hunting for and generating qualified leads.
  • Experience selling into technology companies or commercial teams.
  • Comfortable managing sub‑30 day sales cycles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High energy, resilience, and motivation to exceed quota.
  • Drive to succeed in a startup environment.
