GenHQ Limited is looking for a Part-Time Operations Assistant to join our team. This role will support the Operations Manager and the CEO with day-to-day admin and coordination to help the business run smoothly. It’s a wide-ranging support role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, likes having a bird’s-eye view across a business, and is happy jumping between tasks to keep things moving. We’re a fast-paced company that’s growing quickly, so this role suits someone who wants to grow alongside the business and gain exposure across operations, marketing, finance admin, and community support. The role is part-time as we scale. As the business grows and the role becomes more built out, there may be an opportunity to increase hours in the future. Flexibility to potentially go full-time is a plus, but not a requirement.
Role details
- Hours: 24 hours per week (flexible on working days)
- Location: Fully remote (UK-based)
- Salary: £27,000 pro rata
- Start date: February 9th (flexible)
- Reporting to: Operations Manager, with some support for the CEO

What you’ll be doing
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Operations Manager by taking day-to-day tasks off their plate, allowing them to focus on bigger-picture work. You’ll also assist the CEO with some lighter admin support. This includes:
- Operations & coordination
- Keeping project boards and internal systems up to date
- Supporting day-to-day production and team coordination
- Helping ensure tasks are tracked and nothing slips through the cracks
- Inbox & admin support
- Monitoring the CEO and Operations Manager inboxes
- Flagging important messages and handling straightforward admin where appropriate
- Marketing & community admin
- Basic marketing check-ins and admin support
- Posting content across platforms when needed
- Helping manage community messages, flagging issues, and supporting simple outreach
- Finance & admin support
- Data entry and organisation of invoices and expenses
- Supporting existing financial systems and processes
- Research & logistics
- Light research as needed (tools, travel, systems, etc.)
- Booking travel and keeping track of confirmations and travel-related expenses
- In-person events (attendance not required)
- Venue research and communication
- Guest communication and coordination
- General admin support to help events run smoothly
What we’re looking for
- Someone organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling different types of tasks
- A clear communicator who can work independently
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and project management tools (e.g. Monday, ClickUp, or similar)
- Comfortable with basic financial tracking and admin
- Willing to jump into tasks, learn quickly, and take on new challenges
- Comfortable working remotely and managing their own workload
- Familiar with major social platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Nice to have (but not required)
- Familiarity with creative AI tools or the creator economy
- London-based (useful but not essential)
