Shan Hanif is the Founder and CEO of Genflow, one of the world's leading creator agencies working with some of the biggest names in content creation. We are now looking for a highly operations-focused Social Media Manager to take ownership of Shan's personal social channels, managing the end-to-end content pipeline.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be the engine behind Shan's personal content, ensuring that content is planned, scripted, approved, edited, scheduled, and published on time across all platforms. You will own the content calendar, manage relationships with the wider content team, hold everyone accountable to deadlines, and ensure Shan's content strategy is executed consistently and accurately across every platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Operations & Calendar Management: Own and manage Shan's master content calendar across all platforms. Ensure all content is planned, briefed, scripted, reviewed, approved, edited, and scheduled on time. Build and maintain a repeatable, scalable content workflow. Manage Shan's following strategy and proactively flag risks, delays, or bottlenecks in the pipeline.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Act as the central point of contact between Shan and the wider content team. Run weekly content planning and delivery check-ins. Brief team members on upcoming content requirements and chase approvals proactively.
  • Scheduling & Publishing: Schedule and publish content across platforms ensuring it goes live at the right time, in the right format, with correct copy, tags, and optimisations. Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips and maintain a bank of repurposed content. Create social-first content yourself and ensure messaging, tone, and positioning are consistent across all platforms.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Produce a weekly social analytics report covering key performance metrics. Translate data into clear, actionable insights and track growth targets.

  • Proven experience managing high-volume social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Strong ops mindset: you build systems, hold others to timelines, and take ownership.
  • Hands-on experience scheduling & publishing content.
  • Experience working alongside a content production team.
  • Confident interpreting social analytics and translating into clear reports.
  • Deep familiarity with Instagram and Threads.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Genuine interest in entrepreneurship, business, and the creator economy.
  • Experience repurposing long-form video content into short-form clips.
  • Understanding of social growth strategies and short form content optimisation.
  • Highly proficient with relevant editing tools.
