Genflow is a creator-led growth business that builds and scales consumer brands in partnership with the world's most influential talent. We combine content, commerce, and performance marketing to build culturally relevant brands with genuine global reach. We move fast, we operate at the intersection of culture and commerce, and everything we build is designed to convert.
About the Role
We're hiring a Sales Copywriter who lives at the intersection of brand and performance: someone who can write copy that doesn't just sound good, but actually sells. This isn't a brand awareness role. You'll be writing copy that drives action, from the first hook to the final CTA. You'll work across our brand portfolio, producing direct response copy, sales pages, email sequences, ad scripts, and launch assets that are built to convert.
If you understand consumer psychology, know how to move someone from curious to committed, and can switch between brand voice and sales urgency without missing a beat, this role was made for you. Your job is direct: take a raw brief and within 24–48 hours it becomes:
- A full email sequence - welcome, launch, abandoned cart
- Multiple ad scripts for Meta and TikTok
- Hook variants tested and ready to run
Philosophy
- 80% of wins come from deep understanding of angles and how to persuade, not clever wordplay
- Consumer psychology dictates all work created
- You have a swipe file. You have receipts.
- You write in voice. You write for conversion. You know the difference between the two - and you never sacrifice one without knowing why.
Outcomes in First 90 Days
- Ship conversion copy across sales pages, email sequences, ad scripts, and launch assets
- Improve conversion rates on 2 core product offers with data to back it
- Build a reusable hook library, angle bank, and swipe file across the brand portfolio
- Write multiple A/B variants per asset - not one and done
- Hit 24–48 hour turnaround on scoped briefs
- Establish consistent copy standards across every customer touchpoint
- Close gaps in messaging consistency and get brands to full conversion speed
Responsibilities
- Write high‑converting long‑form sales pages, VSL scripts, and product launch pages
- Above‑the‑fold hooks that stop the scroll. Offers that land. CTAs that close.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure copy and layout reinforce each other
Ad Copy & Scripts
- Write direct response ad copy for Meta and TikTok — hooks, body, CTA
- Script face‑to‑camera and UGC‑style video ads for creators and talent
- Develop multiple hook variants per concept for creative testing
- Understand what stops the scroll and what drives clicks — and write to both
Email Sequences
- Build full email flows: welcome, nurture, launch, abandoned cart, post‑purchase
- Optimise subject lines and preview text for open rates
- Write sequences that move people — from curious to committed
- Understand list segmentation and write accordingly
Campaign & Launch Assets
- Support product and brand launches end‑to‑end: pre‑launch tease through post‑launch nurture
- Write offer‑led copy that communicates value clearly and creates urgency without feeling forced
- Deliver full copy suites on time, to brief, at pace
Brand Voice Within a Sales Framework
- Write in each creator's brand voice without losing commercial edge
- Translate brand positioning and creator identity into copy that converts
- Maintain consistency across all touchpoints — without sacrificing performance
Testing & Iteration
- Write multiple copy variants for A/B testing across ads, emails, and landing pages
- Analyse performance data alongside the media buying team
- Use findings to inform future angles, hooks, and offer framing
- Maintain a live swipe file, angle bank, and copy library across brands
- Work closely with creative strategists, designers, and media buyers
- Brief and collaborate with UGC creators on scripted content
- Build copy SOPs to systemise workflows as the team scales
What We're Looking For
- Proof. Send links, screenshots, specific numbers, funnel stats. We want: "Rewrote the VSL hook — conversion rate went from 2.1% to 3.8%." Not: "Helped communicate brand values across digital channels."
- You have proven experience writing direct response or sales copy — and you have results to show for it.
- You understand consumer psychology, persuasion, and what makes people buy
- You can write in a brand voice without losing commercial edge
- You're a fast, prolific writer who produces quality copy at pace
- You're data‑literate — you read performance metrics and respond, not rationalise
- You thrive in a fast‑moving environment and don't need hand‑holding to ship
- Uses initiative
- Excellent communication and brief interpretation
- Fast writer, strong editor, ruthless on weak hooks
- Able to incorporate strict brand guidelines with copy best practices
- Flawless attention to detail (no typos, all work sent for approval is client ready)
Nice to Have
- Experience in consumer, lifestyle, or creator‑led brands
- Background in performance marketing
- Knowledge of email platforms: Klaviyo or similar
- Familiarity with low‑ticket lead gen and ascension models
- An existing swipe file or portfolio of high‑performing campaigns
Performance Is Tied To
- Conversion rate improvements across owned assets
- Email open and click‑through rates
- Ad creative performance and CPL movement
- Copy turnaround speed and brief adherence
- Revenue contribution tracked to copy decisions
