Shan Hanif is the Founder and CEO of Genflow, one of the world's leading creator agencies working with some of the biggest names in content creation. Shan creates content focused on business strategy, the creator economy, entrepreneurship, and personal growth, sharing his insights across YouTube, Instagram, Threads, and X.
We are now looking for a highly operations-focused Social Media Manager to take ownership of Shan's personal social channels, managing the end-to-end content pipeline so that Shan can focus on creating, while everything else runs smoothly behind the scenes.
ABOUT THE ROLEYou will be the engine behind Shan's personal content, ensuring that content is planned, scripted, approved, edited, scheduled, and published on time across all platforms. You will own the content calendar, manage relationships with the wider content team (editors, designers, videographers, scriptwriters), hold everyone accountable to deadlines, and ensure Shan's content strategy is executed consistently and accurately across every platform.
The perfect candidate will have a genuine instinct for social media, understanding what performs, what gets repurposed, and how to extract maximum value from Shan's existing and ongoing content library while maintaining a relentless focus on operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Content Operations & Calendar Management
- Own and manage Shan's master content calendar across all platforms: Instagram, Threads, YouTube, and X.
- Ensure all content is planned, briefed, scripted, reviewed, approved, edited, and scheduled on time.
- Build and maintain a repeatable, scalable content workflow that keeps all stakeholders accountable.
- Manage Shan's following strategy, researching & identifying the right accounts to follow and engaging strategically to build Shan's presence & credibility with the audiences that matter most.
- Proactively flag risks, delays, or bottlenecks in the pipeline and resolve them before they become an issue.
- Cross-Team Coordination
- Act as the central point of contact between Shan and the wider content team including editors, scriptwriters, designers, and videographers.
- Run weekly content planning and delivery check-ins to ensure everything is on track.
- Brief team members on upcoming content requirements, deadlines, and platform-specific specs.
- Chase approvals and sign-offs proactively.
- Scheduling & Publishing
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Threads, and X ensuring content goes live at the right time, in the right format, with correct copy, tags, and platform-specific optimisations.
- Repurpose long-form content (YouTube, podcasts, interviews) into short-form clips, Reels, and platform-native posts.
