We are the world’s leading creator and business building agency, building, launching, scaling and advising brands and businesses for some of the world’s most successful creators. Our creators include James Smith, Senada Greca, Grace Beverley, Mike Thurston, Leana Deeb, Chris Williamson and many others. We operate across four areas:
- Genflow Ventures – where we invest in and launch new businesses with some of the biggest creators in the world.
- Genflow Brands – where we partner with creators to manage and scale new and existing brands.
- Genflow Accelerator – We advise existing businesses on how to scale, and provide custom support for business turnarounds and scaling through performance marketing and other services.
- Genflow Creator Agency (GCA) – We manage some of the most exciting creator talent in the world.
We manage a portfolio of 65+ creator brands across physical and digital products in fitness, fashion, beauty, nutrition and wellness, education and productivity. We also work with a lot of agencies and business owners, who have seen our success and want our help to scale their businesses, through consulting, coaching, and Done For You services. We are a fast-growing, ambitious company (the team is 130+ with global offices) that has achieved so much already, but knows there is still so much more opportunity to go after, which is why we are building out our high-performing team.
The Role: We are looking for a commercially sharp, well-connected New Business Director to lead our acquisition efforts at Genflow. This is a senior commercial position for someone who is well versed in the creator economy, has worked in an agency, sold services at a high level, and knows how to represent a brand with real credibility in front of high-profile clients. You’ll be the face of the agency, being the first Genflow voice on every call. Your job is to fill the pipeline with the right opportunities, prepare and deliver compelling pitches, and drive the deal all the way through to signing, with well-structured, professional hand-offs into the team once secured.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Leadership
- Lead all new business & partnership opportunities from initial outreach to contract signing & onboarding, working closely with Genflow’s executive & operational teams.
- Be the first Genflow voice on every call, for both inbound leads & outbound targets.
- Build genuine rapport quickly & communicate Genflow's value in a way that resonates with each potential new client.
- Create professional, tailored pitch decks & materials for each opportunity, working collaboratively with the wider team to do so.
- Brief leadership on well-qualified opportunities, so we can lead on strategic business planning & support closing where necessary.
- Outreach & Pipeline Management
- Own the creator acquisition funnel, from identification to pitching & closing new business deals.
- Proactively research, identify, & approach high-potential creators who fit our criteria.
- Manage an outreach team, refining approach & targeting to secure high-quality leads.
- Mentor & direct the outreach team, ensuring consistency & alignment with our strategic goals.
- Manage & qualify inbound leads.
- Maintain an acquisition pipeline, with clarity on what's ready to progress, needs nurturing, or deprioritise.
- Keep the pipeline moving at all times, with no leads going cold.
- Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, pitch, and establish strategic partnerships with relevant agencies (PR, talent, podcast, influencer, marketing) that align with Genflow’s creator-first mission.
- Build long-term, high-impact relationships with decision-makers across the creator economy ecosystem.
- Leverage your existing network to accelerate introductions & open doors.
- Represent Genflow at industry events, creator conferences & networking opportunities where necessary.
- Work closely with our leadership & marketing team on acquisition strategy, targeting, marketing initiatives & messaging to attract agency partners, creators, and brand collaborators.
- Feed intelligence back into the business; what creators care about, what objections come up, what's working.
- Help shape how Genflow positions & packages its offering as the market evolves.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, delivery and marketing teams to ensure seamless handoff and execution of signed opportunities.
About You:
- 7+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or new business within an agency environment: talent, PR, media, marketing, influencer, or creative.
- Agency background is non-negotiable; you've sold services, not just managed accounts.
- You've been the face of an agency, pitching, presenting to senior clients, & building relationships at a high level.
- Experience in the creator economy, influencer marketing, or talent space is strongly preferred; digital or marketing agency backgrounds will also be considered.
- Deep genuine interest in the creator economy, you follow creators, understand the platforms, & speak the language.
- Proven ability to build partnerships from first contact through to signed agreement.
- Commercially savvy, you can craft compelling proposals and navigate deals with confidence.
- Skilled at building professional pitch decks & sales materials from scratch, not from a template.
- Strong communicator & persuasive storyteller in front of high-profile creators and agency leadership.
- Comfortable managing both senior relationships & team workflows simultaneously.
- Highly organised with real pipeline discipline.
- Proactive and self-starting, you don't wait to be told where to look or who to approach.
- UK-based with regular in-person presence at meetings across London and the UK.
What We Offer:
- A key leadership role at one of the most forward-thinking agencies in the creator economy.
- The opportunity to work with the world’s leading creators, helping them build brands & businesses that matter.
- A collaborative, creative, and fast-paced team environment.
