About GenFinance.AI:
GenFinance.AI helps finance teams and accounting practices adopt generative AI. We work with ICAEW, blue-chip corporates, and mid-market businesses to deliver training, consulting, and implementation support.
The founder, Peter Beard, is building a personal brand as the go-to voice for AI in finance. Content is a core part of this strategy. We need an editor who can turn raw recordings into polished, engaging content that builds authority and drives inbound interest.
Our mission: To accelerate the world’s finance professionals through rapid, reliable and responsible AI.
Content is central to how we build authority and generate demand.
A Note from the Founder:
I am building a personal brand as the go-to voice for AI in finance. Content is not a nice-to-have; it is core to how we grow. I need an editor who understands that professional services content is different from entertainment. Clean, credible, educational. The right editor will become a long-term creative partner, not just a vendor.
The Role:
We are building a content engine. The model is simple: record long-form content (YouTube videos, podcast episodes), then repurpose into short-form clips for LinkedIn. The goal is professional, engaging content that reflects the credibility expected of a finance-focused consultancy.
Content Types:
- YouTube Long-Form: Educational videos aimed at finance professionals. Typical length: 8-20 minutes. Style: Clean, professional, not overly flashy.
- Podcast Episodes: Audio-Video content. Typical length: 30-60 minutes. Style: Conversational but polished.
- LinkedIn Short-Form Clips: Extracted and edited from long-form content. Typical length: 30-90 seconds. Style: Punchy, hook-driven.
- Client Testimonials: Occasional testimonial videos. Length: 1-3 minutes. Style: Authentic, lightly polished.
What We Are Looking For:
Skills:- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
- Experience with vertical/short-form editing for social platforms
- Strong sense of pacing and storytelling
- Ability to add motion graphics, lower thirds, and on-screen text
- Audio cleanup and enhancement
- Colour grading for consistent, professional look
- Understanding of YouTube best practices
- Experience working with thought leadership or educational content preferred
- Bonus: familiarity with finance, accounting, or B2B professional services
- Reliable and communicative
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Open to feedback and iteration
- UK timezone friendly
Payment Schedule:
Open to negotiate on best pricing method that works for both sides.
Volume and Retainers:
Initial volume is expected to be 6-10 pieces per month. For editors who prove to be a good fit, we are open to retainer arrangements with volume discounts.
What Is Included:
- Two rounds of revisions per deliverable
- Basic colour grading and audio cleanup
- Captions/subtitles for short-form content
- Simple motion graphics and lower thirds
- Export in required formats for each platform
What Is Out of Scope:
- Complex motion graphics or animation
- Original music composition or licensing
- Rush turnarounds (less than 48 hours)
- More than two revision rounds
- Thumbnail design (unless included in scope)
Typical Workflow:
- Recording: Peter records long-form content monthly.
- Briefing: Raw footage shared via Google Drive. Brief provided with key moments and specific requirements.
- First cut: Editor delivers first cut within agreed timeline.
- Feedback: Peter provides feedback via Loom, comments, or call.
- Invoicing: Monthly invoicing for all deliverables completed.
About the Founder:
Peter Beard ACA BFP has over ten years of experience in finance and accounting. He now sits on two ICAEW Advisory Boards and holds a Perplexity AI Fellowship.
What We Believe:
- Trust is precious.
- Substance over style.
- Quality compounds.
- Consistency wins.
