What your role will look like:
- The Sales Engineer works with the UK & Ireland sales team in a pre-sales role to develop and position solutions encompassing Genetec’s products.
- The Genetec product portfolio includes Video, Access Control, and LPR.
- Working closely with the Account Executives, the SE is responsible for all of the technical aspects of the sale during the entire sales cycle and is often involved with the client post purchase.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Genetec's software and hardware products.
- Define the solutions best suited to the requirements of our customers and partners.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders, customers and partners.
- Present high-level demonstrations of our entire product range.
- Provide technical support to sales teams in response to customer specifications.
- Work closely with the technical support team to ensure a seamless transition between the pre-sales and post-sales teams, and the successful implementation of our solutions.
- Participate in specialized security trade shows, exhibitions and seminars.
- Write white papers and become a true expert on Genetec solutions.
- Provide technical feedback from the field to upstream Product Management teams.
- Implement complex software solutions.

- Excellent presentation skills.
- Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical Security market experience.
- Be comfortable working in a multicultural and multi-national company.
- Comfortable traveling 40%+ of the time.
