Your team’s dynamic: Genetec is seeking a senior professional to lead and grow our Consulting, Design, and Engineering (CDE) Program for the UK & Ireland. This high-impact role focuses on strengthening relationships with security consultants and design engineers, enabling them with Genetec solutions, and building a qualified pipeline of sales opportunities during the design and specification phase of major security projects.
What your day will look like:
- CDE Engagement: Lead consultant enablement and specification efforts across the UK & Ireland.
- Consultant Upskilling: Develop and deliver enablement strategies to educate consultants and design engineers on Genetec’s platform, architecture, and solutions.
- Drive Specification: Influence the early design stages of projects to ensure Genetec’s technology is specified and considered across verticals.
- Ecosystem Navigation: Engage key stakeholders throughout the value chain—from vendor to integrator to main contractor and end-user.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Genetec at industry forums, security expos, and technical working groups, particularly where design and compliance are involved.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with top-tier security consulting firms and engineering practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with regional sales, business development, and marketing to integrate CDE efforts with broader strategic initiatives.
- Voice of the Market: Provide market intelligence and field insights to help shape Genetec’s regional positioning and roadmap.
- Present business proposals and product demonstrations to potential clients.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field or demonstrated experience in Enterprise Physical Security Sales.
- Minimum 5–10 years experience, including consultancy experience in physical security and enterprise sales; ability to understand the ecosystem from vendor to system integrator to main contractor and end-user.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel.
Great if you have:
- Deep understanding of the project and procurement lifecycle in the physical security ecosystem.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with consultants, engineers, and design influencers.
- Experience working across the vendor-SI-contractor-end user chain.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, security technology, or business are preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
