About the Role
Genesys is seeking a Digital Localization Manager to lead the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of localization across our global digital ecosystem. This role is responsible for scaling multilingual experiences across digital channels and content types, including websites, landing pages, campaigns, emails, digital assets, resource centers, webinars, videos, and other customer-facing content. Working closely with Digital Experience, Content, Product Marketing, Brand, Marketing Operations, Regional Marketing, and external localization partners, you will develop scalable localization processes, optimize translation technologies, and ensure high-quality, culturally relevant experiences for global audiences. This role combines localization expertise, operational excellence, and cross-functional leadership to improve the efficiency, quality, and impact of Genesys' global content programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Localization Strategy & Governance: Develop and evolve the global digital localization strategy, standards, and governance processes to support consistent and scalable multilingual experiences across digital channels and markets.
- Translation & Workflow Management: Manage end-to-end localization workflows across websites, campaigns, emails, digital assets, product marketing content, and other customer-facing experiences, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Build strong partnerships with translation vendors, regional marketing teams, content owners, and subject matter experts to prioritize work, improve quality, and drive operational efficiency.
- Technology & Automation: Serve as the business owner for localization technologies, translation management systems, connectors, and automation platforms. Partner with Digital Experience, Web Operations, and Marketing Technology teams to optimize workflows and integrations across CMS, DAM, and marketing systems.
- Quality Assurance & Optimization: Establish quality standards, review processes, and localization best practices to ensure translations are accurate, culturally relevant, on-brand, and aligned with regional market needs.
- Program Analysis & Reporting: Develop reporting and dashboards to measure localization quality, cost, efficiency, timelines, adoption, and business impact. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
- Localization Program Development: Evaluate content, channels, languages, and customer journeys to develop scalable localization and content tiering strategies that maximize impact while balancing quality, speed, and cost.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Marketing, Digital Experience, Product Marketing, Brand, Customer Success, and Regional Marketing to support global content initiatives and localization best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in digital localization, web translation management, global content operations, or a related field.
- Experience managing localization programs for enterprise organizations with multiple languages, regions, and digital channels.
- Strong understanding of localization, internationalization, transcreation, and multilingual content best practices.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS), translation management systems (TMS), digital asset management (DAM) platforms, and marketing technologies.
- Experience managing localization vendors, budgets, timelines, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting, analytics, and dashboarding tools to measure program performance and identify opportunities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project management capabilities.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements across a global, matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting B2B SaaS, technology, or enterprise software organizations.
- Experience with AI-assisted translation, machine translation, and localization automation technologies.
- Experience working with WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or other enterprise CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with multilingual SEO and international digital experience best practices.
- Proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and regional marketing organizations.
- Experience managing localization for a broad range of digital content types, including websites, campaigns, videos, webinars, and marketing assets.
