As a Senior Therapy Radiographer with us, you'll play a pivotal role in rotating across multiple treatment platforms and modalities within the centre as the need arises to support the overall radiotherapy service. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact and develop your career.

What You'll Do:

  • Work as part of an integrated radiotherapy team and drive operational, technical, and clinical excellence in the utilisation of all platforms within your centre, so that all operational objectives and standards are achieved, and the reputation of GenesisCare for exceptional service and outcomes is promoted.
  • Support the clinical and non-clinical team in aspects of radiotherapy operations, supporting safe, high quality and efficient patient management on all treatment platforms.
  • Assist the Lead Therapy Radiographer with the development of protocols, areas of technical and clinical research and implementation of clinical trials across multiple radiotherapy platforms.

What You'll Have:

Experience and skills:

  • Experience within all aspects of radiotherapy; quality assurance, pre-treatment simulation, on set imaging, dosimetry review and treatment delivery.
  • Evidence of working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Evidence of empathetic and a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Understanding of governance.
  • Evidence of effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Able to work flexibly to achieve GenesisCare business objectives.
  • Current, or willingness to undertake, cannulation training and accreditation to support the clinical service.
  • Desirable: experience of proactively evolving and novel radiation therapy imaging and dose delivery techniques.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • DCR (DR) or BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography.
  • Significant post graduate studies or clinical experience.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
