GenesisCare is expanding its UK network with the opening of a brand-new Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) centre in Royal Tunbridge Wells in Autumn 2026. This purpose-built centre will deliver chemotherapy, immunotherapy and cellular therapies, bringing advanced cancer treatment closer to patients across West Kent and the South East. This is a rare opportunity to join the founding leadership team and shape a new service from day one.

As a Lead SACT Nurse with us, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the safe, effective and high-quality delivery of systemic anti-cancer therapy within our new centre. You will provide expert clinical leadership, oversee daily SACT operations, ensure adherence to national frameworks and governance standards, and build a high-performing nursing team focused on delivering exceptional patient care. What You'll Do:

  • Provide visible clinical leadership and oversight of SACT services
  • Ensure all systemic therapies are delivered in line with UKONS guidance, evidence-based practice and GenesisCare policies
  • Maintain advanced competence in SACT administration and toxicity management
  • Lead governance processes including audits, incident management and risk assessments
  • Support workforce planning to ensure safe staffing levels and appropriate skill mix
  • Promote a collaborative, compassionate and high-performing team culture
  • Work closely with consultants, pharmacists and operational teams to streamline patient pathways
  • Contribute to service development, business planning and the introduction of new therapies
  • Uphold high standards in medicines management, infection prevention and safe handling of cytotoxic drugs

What You'll Have:

  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration
  • Current UKONS SACT Passport
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-registration oncology/haematology experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ senior clinical leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of governance, audit and risk management
  • Post-registration qualification in Oncology and/or Haematology
  • Advanced Life Support (or willingness to work towards)
