GenesisCare is expanding its UK network with the opening of a brand-new Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) centre in Royal Tunbridge Wells in Autumn 2026. This purpose-built centre will bring advanced cancer treatment closer to patients across West Kent and the South East, improving accessibility and enhancing the overall patient experience.

As a Healthcare Assistant with us, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the clinical teams, nursing staff, consultants and diagnostic radiographers by performing tasks that facilitate the smooth running of our services. You will positively and proactively contribute to building strong and enduring relationships with patients and colleagues, ensuring a high-quality experience for everyone attending the centre.

What You'll Do:- Prepare treatment units and clinic rooms prior to patient appointments
- Assist nurses and consultants during clinical procedures
- Record and report patient observations including temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure
- Support venepuncture, sample collection and safe transportation to the laboratory
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment in line with infection prevention policies
- Ensure adequate stock levels and support ordering processes
- Provide chaperone services where required
- Support patient mobility, comfort and dignity at all times
- Act as a patient advocate and promote a compassionate approach to care
- Assist pharmacy and radiography teams where required
- Maintain patient confidentiality in line with GenesisCare policies and statutory legislation
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience working within the healthcare sector or a customer-focused environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A professional, empathetic and patient-centred approach
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing service demands
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
- Aware of data protection and patient confidentiality requirements
- Experience in venepuncture (desirable, training available)
