As a Healthcare Assistant with us, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the clinical teams, nursing staff, consultants and diagnostic radiographers by performing tasks that facilitate the smooth running of our services and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

What You'll Do
- Prepare specialist trolleys prior to clinics and procedures.
- Prepare units prior to treatment.
- Prepare clinic rooms prior to consultant clinics.
- Prepare clinic lists and medical records.
- Ensure general tidiness of consulting rooms and clinical areas.
- Maintain a clean environment adhering to infection control policy.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and order stock where required.
- Provide a chaperone service when required.
- Assist consultants and nurses with clinical procedures.
- Support patients with dressing and mobility where required.
- Act as a patient advocate at all times.
- Record and report patient observations appropriately.
- Obtain blood and other samples from patients.
- Assist radiographers in MRI and PET CT suites where required.
- Support pharmacy and administrative activities as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in line with company policies and statutory legislation.
- What You'll Have
- Care Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Strong relationship building and communication skills.
- Experience working within the healthcare sector.
- Experience within a customer-focused environment.
- Evidence of an empathetic and patient-centred approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in venepuncture would be advantageous.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing demands.
- Awareness of data protection and patient confidentiality requirements.
