As the Head of Cell and Advanced Therapies, you'll provide strategic leadership for the development and implementation of advanced therapy programmes across GenesisCare UK and partner organisations.
Leading multiple complex projects simultaneously, you'll work across clinical, operational, quality, regulatory and commercial teams to ensure new services are successfully commissioned, launched and continuously improved. You'll also build strong relationships with NHS organisations, commercial partners and manufacturers, helping GenesisCare remain at the forefront of innovative cancer treatments.

What You'll Do
- Lead the planning, implementation and delivery of cell and advanced therapy programmes.
- Develop programme governance, project plans, timelines and risk management frameworks.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across clinical, operational, commercial and regulatory functions.
- Manage commissioning activities, supplier relationships and commercial partnerships.
- Oversee contracting, due diligence and service provider performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards including GMP, GCP, GDP and HTA requirements.
- Lead quality assurance activities, audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with NHS partners, manufacturers, logistics providers and regulatory bodies.
- Support operational readiness, training, accreditation and service launch activities.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership on programme performance and delivery.
What You'll Have
- Significant programme or project leadership experience within healthcare.
- Strong understanding of NHS contracting, commercial healthcare and financial governance.
- Knowledge of cell and gene therapy (ATMP) regulatory requirements, including MHRA, GMP, GCP and HTA frameworks.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across healthcare organisations and industry.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams simultaneously.
Desirable
- Experience within advanced therapies, oncology, haematology or transplant services.
- Experience working with commercial healthcare partners and NHS organisations.
- Knowledge of GMP quality systems and regulatory audits.
- Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Healthcare Management or equivalent experience.
- Project Management qualification.
