GenesisCare is launching a new SACT and research service in Guildford, and we are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Breast Care) to support patients throughout their cancer journey. This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly specialised oncology environment, delivering expert, compassionate care in a brand-new service.
Main duties of the job
- Act as a Key Worker for patients, coordinating care and providing expert clinical guidance throughout treatment.
- Work closely with consultants and the wider MDT to ensure a seamless, personalised patient experience.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients throughout treatment.
- Deliver holistic assessments and personalised care plans.
- Provide specialist advice and education to patients and families.
- Run nurse-led clinics and support MDT decision-making.
- Coordinate care pathways and support transitions between services.
- Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement.
