Our Guildford centre is entering an exciting phase of growth, including the development of a new Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) department, enhancing our ability to deliver integrated, patient-centred oncology care. This is a unique opportunity to lead a centre at the forefront of innovation and service expansion.
As a Centre Leader, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management, performance, and strategic direction of the Guildford centre. You will provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services while driving commercial performance and growth. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will shape the future of the centre, particularly as we expand services through the introduction of the new SACT offering.
What You’ll Do- Provide overall leadership and operational management of the centre, ensuring excellence in patient care and service delivery
- Lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams including radiotherapy, diagnostics, nursing, administration and exercise medicine
- Drive a high-performance culture, using data and KPIs to inform decision-making and improve outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants and key stakeholders to support referral growth
- Identify opportunities for service development, including maximising the impact of the new SACT department
- Ensure full compliance with governance, regulatory and safety standards (CQC, H&S, etc.)
- Contribute to financial performance, including budget planning and delivery
- Champion GenesisCare initiatives to improve quality, culture, efficiency and access
- Lead on patient experience improvements through feedback and continuous service development
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to raise the centre’s profile locally
- Proven leadership experience within a healthcare environment
- Strong commercial awareness with experience delivering against P&L targets
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving performance
- Background in private healthcare and understanding of the healthcare market
- Experience as a CQC Registered Manager
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, including consultants
- Passion for delivering service excellence and improving patient outcomes
- Degree-level education with a relevant management qualification
- A collaborative, engaging leadership style with a focus on culture and people development
