Therapy Radiographer (Preceptorship, Cambridge)

Overview

We’re excited to offer a new opportunity at our Cambridge centre as part of GenesisCare’s Radiotherapy Preceptorship Programme. This role is ideal for a newly qualified radiographer—or someone soon to qualify—looking to join a values-led organisation committed to clinical excellence and personal development. Over a two-year structured programme, you will gain hands-on experience across the full radiotherapy pathway and benefit from dedicated mentorship, skills training, and support to grow into a future senior radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver external beam radiotherapy safely and effectively in accordance with established protocols
• Learn and rotate across key areas of radiotherapy workflow
• Engage in reflective practice, clinical supervision, and a tailored development plan
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care
• Record and manage clinical data in line with governance and safety standards

Qualifications

• DCR(T) or BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy (or equivalent)
• HCPC registration (or due to register soon)
• Passion for patient care and professional growth
• Team spirit and the ability to communicate well with colleagues and patients
• A flexible, proactive attitude and a commitment to excellence
